The Cablesson Mini DisplayPort / Thunderbolt (male) to DisplayPort (female) Adapter enables the connection of your Mini DP supported computer to a DisplayPort supported monitor or other display. To use simply insert the Mini DisplayPort (male) into the end of the adapter of your computer. Next, plug your existing DisplayPort cable from your display into the DisplayPort (female) end of the adapter. Setup is now complete. The Cablesson Mini DP (male) to DP Adapter is fully compliant with locking or non-lock DisplayPort cables.
NOTE: This adapter will support audio only if your source device allows audio output through the Mini DisplayPorts interface. If you're not sure please check with the manufacturer or website to confirm if your device allows audio out through the Mini-DP interface.
